Another attempt at scrapbooking the photos from the other day. 🙂

My little diva

This is my latest scrapbook attempt. I think I like the style of the page, but I think this photo would look better with softer colors. I mihght change it around later if I ever get time. What do you think?

So in lieu of posting a photo (again) I’m posting my second digital scrapbook page. It’s a few of the photos that my dear friend at Obscure Details took of me and the hubbie after we got married. I’m trying to train myself to be a master of photoshop…. I’ve got a long way to go!!!

Beautiful Faces – 1 month

I’ve been trying to think of what to do with all the photos I’m taking of baby Marcy. I thought I’d either make a photobook or a scrapbook, but I’ve just been feeling uninspired. So today I made my first attempt at digital scrapbooking using Adobe Photoshop. I used “supplies” from the plentiful collection over at Shabby Princess. It took hours to figure out how to do what I wanted it to do, but I think I’m happy with the overall results. What do you think??

Nesting Tendencies

I like to give myself projects.  Well, I like to give myself way too many projects, but that is beside the point.  I am going to finish this one! I am determined!

I’ve decided to make a baby quilt for my little baby Marcy.  I don’t know what spurred this immediate desire to make and craft, but I will blame raging hormones for now.  I spent the night pinning away.  I hope to get my sewing machine from my parents house so that I can sew the quilt face tomorrow.

I’m so excited, I can’t wait to put this thing together.  It’s going to be beautiful.  So for now, I’ll leave you with some pictures of the squares.  Wish me luck! 🙂

Finding Inspiration

I was enaging in my typical morning diversion of blog stalking when I stumbled across and amazing freebie/tutorial over at Creature Comfort. (Oh how I love you Creature Comfort!)  It was printable tea bag covers for valentines day.  So, I said to myself, this would be perfect for Jess’s Bridal Shower (which is tea themed).  So after an hour of powerpoint/pdf magic, voila.  Now I just have to put tea bags in there.  Check out the tutorial because her design is beautiful for Valentine’s day.  Such an awesome idea! (Can you tell how excited I am?)

Here are the individual tea bag templates I’m printing. What do you think? I’ll probably try to use burgundy thread to tie it all together.
