Photo Shoot with Obscure Details

Kelly, of Obscure Details, and I have been friends since my freshman year of college.  Now we are both currently on a photo journey, attempting to use our D3000’s to the best of our abilities.  We decided we both wanted to build our portfolios and work on some portraits and a light went off.  We agreed to be each other’s models for the day and the rest is history.

I wanted to be very adventurous with my editing style for the shoot, so I took some risks and did some heavy editing.  Hope you like them!

This is picture I took at the Agricultural Farm Park awhile back and was unsure about. I edited it two different ways that I really liked using color bag (magazine & colorcross).  I finally chose color cross for the vibrant colors. Hope you like it too!

Daddy & Me “Polaroid”

I’m testing out this cool program that was originally for the iPhone called CameraBag. It’s supposed to simulate old processing techniques like poloroids, old black and whites, cinemas, etc. Since I can’t afford Photoshop, I’m happy I found a cheap toy to play around with for now. It’s actually pretty fun tool when you want to just do a quick edit. It’ll have to hold me for a while!

This one’s of me and my daddy (♥) on vacation last summer. I also did most of my New Years photos with it.  I kinda like it! Thoughts?

P.S. If you want to purchase the tool, type in “Holidays” in the promo code spot at checkout to save $4!
