Nesting Tendencies

I like to give myself projects.  Well, I like to give myself way too many projects, but that is beside the point.  I am going to finish this one! I am determined!

I’ve decided to make a baby quilt for my little baby Marcy.  I don’t know what spurred this immediate desire to make and craft, but I will blame raging hormones for now.  I spent the night pinning away.  I hope to get my sewing machine from my parents house so that I can sew the quilt face tomorrow.

I’m so excited, I can’t wait to put this thing together.  It’s going to be beautiful.  So for now, I’ll leave you with some pictures of the squares.  Wish me luck! 🙂

Craftiness: Christmas Card Ornaments

Christmas Card Ornaments, originally uploaded by amandamal.

I finally finished the Christmas Card ornaments that from a tutorial that I mentioned in an earlier post.  (Here’s another example – Thanks to a friendly commenter!)The tutorial is really easy even though I wasn’t perfectly precise. Try it! They come out so cute. What a wonderful memento of this Christmas!
